I believe this unusual Art Deco Cubist style pottery elephant is French, but I’m not sure.
It has a black gloss lustre glaze which is perfect with no chips or crazing.
There is a slight hairline crack in the base but this doesn’t detract from the overall appearance.
There is a number 5 on the base which, I believe, relates to the size; they are made in other sizes.
Measures approx 16 cm x 16cm x 7 cm
A very attractive, genuine art deco ceramic piece.
